Royal Aqua-Master (1970-1973)
The 1970s marked the end of the US Divers double hose regulators, including the Mistral and Aqua-Master. The Royal Aqua-Master was available until 1973. It featured several updates, including a chrome sticker replacing the rectangular label and a stamped serial number on the yoke-side case. Cosmetic changes included a new tire yoke screw logo and a shift from box clips to a chrome-plated brass ring with a tightening screw. The hoses, mouthpiece, and clamps were similar, though the mouthpiece had the newer US Divers logo.
Final Changes and Serial Number Range
The final Royal Aqua-Master model included a large 3000 psi yoke and screw. Serial numbers range from 91,266 to 747,716. There are significant gaps in the serial number sequence. Clusters of regulators appear in specific ranges with notable omissions. The balanced first stage saw minor internal changes.
